All Erasure wants is a little respect, so be ready to give it to them at the Olympia Theatre.
The synth-pop duo have been making music since the mid-80s. Their signature electro sound is nothing short of iconic; hits like A Little Respect and Chains of Love still stalk the airwaves on a regular basis.
One half of the band is Vince Clarke; a founding member of Depeche Mode and Kazoo with Alison Moyet, he went on to link up with Dave Bell on Erasure via an ad for a vocalist in the pop magazine Melody Maker.
This fateful pair-up proved very successful and the formula continues to work so well. Erasure continue to make critically-acclaimed new music to this day, and at their gig you can expect a sonic mash-up of old and new. It’s unlikely they’ll make it through every track from their 17 studio albums, but you will hear the hits.
