Scottish funnyman and jack of all trades Limmy is a one-man comedy riot. Join him as he revisits his Vines, and get ready to bust a gut.
Originally best known for his BBC Scotland spot Limmy’s Show, Brian Limond – better known as Limmy – started posting his hilarious hijinks to now-defunct social media app Vine when his time on air came to an end.
With a severe time limit, comedy video creators on Vine were tasked with the challenge of fitting setups and delivering punchlines in a mere 6 seconds. When done well, the results were absolutely hysterical, and the app helped launch – and further – the careers of many a budding internet star.
For Limmy, most of 2013 was spent recording Vines, including ones where he improvised characters or simply engaged in maddening nonsense. There’s even one where a spider comes crawling out of his mouth.
Join him as he introduces a screening of the Vines, followed by an audience Q&A where you can ask him how, what and, most importantly, why.
